INTRODUCTION
The Star Parent
Association (SPA) was created to
organize fundraising opportunities and
provide volunteers to support Our Lady
Star of the Sea School in its mission to
educate the entire student.
SPA will encompass
all school fundraising (Harvest Night,
Citrus Sale, Box Tops, Kroger Rewards,
Santa Shoppe, etc.) and special events
like Catholic Schools Week and Field
Day. In addition, volunteers are needed
to provide hospitality support to the
school, educational enrichment programs
for our students and parents, classroom
parent representatives and much, much
more. The Organization will hold
meetings every other month to report on
projects and review upcoming events.
At Our Lady Star of the
Sea School there are so many opportunities
available for you to provide your time and
talents - we hope that you take advantage of at
least one of them! Remember, many hands make
light work. Any offer to help, whether large or
small is appreciated greatly. Please feel free
to contact the office, the SPA co-chairs, or any
event chair for additional information on
volunteering. Planning for many of the events
is already in progress however we would love to
have your input and assistance for these and
future events.
We hope that we
can count on everyone's support to make
the SPA a success. If you have any
questions or concerns, please don't
hesitate to contact us. We look forward
to helping Ms. Aemisegger
in her job of educating our children -
